Kolkata Knight Riders will be taking on the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator game with the advantage of playing at their home ground Eden Gardens. A week ago, both the sides faced off at the same venue with the home side coming over the top and easing their playoff qualification. Rajasthan would like to make a statement with their performances after finishing in the final four with results going in their way. They will need to end their Eden Gardens jinx to make it to the 2nd qualifier.

Key stats and numbers ahead of the Eliminator game between Kolkata and Rajasthan:

1 – Only once Rajasthan Royals have defeated Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. They won the game in the 2008 edition by a 6-wicket margin. Royals lost on all the five occasions they faced the home team in Kolkata after that win.
