This game witnessed one of the few brilliant knocks played by Virat Kohli this season. In the game against Mumbai at the Wankhede, RCB couldn’t have asked for anything better than winning the toss. They rightly chose to bowl first.

Batting first, Mumbai’s innings mainly revolved around two men. The dangerous West Indian batsman Evin Lewis scored 65 off 42. However, the best knock of the innings came from the bat of Rohit Sharma. He scored 94 off 52 taking his teams total to 213 at the end of 20 overs.

RCB, which has some of the best chasers in the game couldn’t get through this one. The master chaser in Virat Kohli was left stranded with no support from the other end. Apart from him, only three RCB batsmen reached the double figure mark. He was the lone ranger as he scored 92 off 62 in tough conditions. He also hit 4 sixes in his innings only to witness his side lose the game by 46 runs.
