The MI’s top order provided fireworks by scoring 84 runs in the powerplay but only 35 runs came from the final five overs. Jason Roy, playing his first game of the season, took on the home team’s spinner in the 195-run chase. Contributions from Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer helped Roy to take DD over the line with an unbeaten 91-run knock.
