One of the spin sensations of the rapidly rising cricketing power Afghanistan, Zahir Khan is a chinaman bowler who outwitted many batsmen in the U19 World Cup 2018 and caught a lot of attention alongside his partner in crime Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Zahir was bought for Rs. 60 Lakh by the Rajasthan Royals, an amount worth its weight in gold for a future superstar.

But surprisingly, a club which is well known for promoting young talents sent Zahir back into the auction. The 19-year-old didn’t get a game in the 2018 edition and might be heading to another team as a lot of franchises will be eager to earn his services. With the World Cup coming up, many big players will not be available for the complete tournament and players like Zahir might command a huge demand in the auction.
