Kane Richardson is another bowler similar to Isuru Udana. He could be a wicket-taker but also leaks a lot of runs. Richardson usually gets hit for a lot of runs in the death overs barring a few games where he bowls beautifully.

Richardson has featured in the IPL in the past. He was signed by the Pune Warriors in 2013 where he picked up three wickets in two games. Then, he played for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the following year and accounted for nine wickets in seven games. Even though he did well that year, he didn’t play any games further for this team and then RR was banned for two years.

Kane was picked by RCB in 2016 – the season where RCB made it to the final. The problems were evident back then and he leaked almost 10 runs every over despite picking seven wickets in four games. RCB clearly didn’t learn its lesson and picked a similar kind of bowler who might pick wickets and gives away a lot of runs.
