Rajasthan Royals (RR) are up against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), and with both teams registering a win in their last game, this promises to be a close contest. The Royals scored 216 and registered a comfortable 16-run win against CSK but they will be wary of KXIP as they have a much more explosive batting line-up and could dominate their bowling on a small ground like Sharjah. They will also be up against Mohammed Shami who has bowled with a lot of intent and pace this season.

KXIP, on the other hand, despite playing well, have a few issues to sort out themselves. Their middle-order is yet to fire with the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Nicholas Pooran yet to come to the party. Their bowling too, although has performed well, but against experienced players like Jos Buttler and Steve Smith might wilt under pressure. Both the teams will be silently confident going into this game but will surely look to improve on certain aspects. In a team full of star players, here are 3 players you can exclude from from your Dream11 team.

1. Jaydev Unadkat (8.5 credits)

After a good season in 2017, Unadkat’s stocks rose humongously and he went for a price of 11.5 crores and then 8.4 crores, both times to Rajasthan Royals. Currently, he is with them for 3 crore. Keeping aside his price, Unadkat in general has been pretty disappointing in the last two years. He had an economy of 10.66 in 2019 and and 9.65 in 2018. In the first game of the season too, he went for 44 in 4 overs. He seemed to have lost his touch as a bowler and his slower balls have become very predictable. With the short boundaries of Sharjah he could become fodder for the explosive batsmen of KXIP.

2. Sheldon Cottrell (8.5 credits)

Sheldon Cottrell might be a surprising addition in this list. He has done well in both the games he has played picking two wickets apiece. However, this will be an altogether new game and he may not be able to adapt to the new ground. He doesn’t have extreme pace and if he does end up bowling in the death overs, with a set batsmen at the crease, Cottrell could go for runs. It is a hunch, but Cottrell could be one of the players who may not be right for this game having done well earlier.

3. Jimmy Neesham (8.5 credits)

Jimmy Neesham’s inclusion in the last match was a bit of surprise. It seemed as though he came into the team not because he added the extra value but because they just wanted to leave out Jordan. Neesham bats at 6-7 and with Sharjah being a batting paradise, he may not even get an opportunity to bat. Add to that his medium pace wont be effective against top batsmen. He is a player you can surely leave out of your team.
