IPL 2020: MS Dhoni-led CSK trolled after team slips to last position in the points table
After SRH's victory, CSK slipped down to the bottom place in the points table.
With the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registering their first win of the season on Tuesday, all the sides have opened their account now in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. All of their four overseas players, David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan, did well along with the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan against Delhi Capitals to win the game by 15 runs.
With this win, the SRH also climbed up the points table to the sixth position. While these are still early days, the three teams that finished in top four last season, are languishing at the bottom at the moment. Mumbai Indians (MI) and SRH are at the fifth and sixth place respectively while the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the seventh position thanks to their 49-run loss to MI in their opening game.
However, nobody had anticipated for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to get off to a bad start to the season. They have won only one game and lost a couple rather comfortably and are at last place in the points table. Many have already ruled them out of the contention for the playoffs with the team struggling in the absence and injury of senior players.

CSK to play their next game against SRH
After winning the tournament opener against MI, CSK have lost to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC). Their intent with the bat has been questioned as well. MS Dhoni, moreover, is hesitating to come up the order to bat and with injuries to Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo, the team is yet to field its best playing XI it seems.
Having said that, they have struggled to get going for the first time in last few years and that has attracted fans’ attention. The fans are busy trolling the Men in Yellow since they dropped to the eighth place in the points table on Tuesday. CSK, meanwhile, are enjoying their six-day break and will be back on the field on Friday, October 2 against the SRH.
Bravo and Rayudu are also fit and set to play as confirmed by CSK CEO and the team is expected to make a few other changes to the XI as well.
