IPL 2021: 3 players you should avoid in fantasy team for Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad game
Let's check which players from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians unlikely to perform in this contest.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be facing Mumbai Indians in a match of the Indian Premier League 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. As these two star-studded line-ups come head to head on a tricky Chennai wicket, it will be crucial for fans to understand which player might work and which might not.
For you to earn fantasy points, it is important to get clarity on the forms of the players, their pattern of struggles, and their contest against certain players.
Here are three players whom you should avoid in the fantasy team for the match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad
1. Wriddhiman Saha
The best out of Wriddhiman Saha comes in the top three, but he hasn’t scored a lot of runs in the first two matches of the tournament, in fact just eight runs in total. A look at his stats shows that he has his second-worst average in Chennai (18) and his worst strike rate (a touch above 100). In the second match, he scored a painful one from nine balls. Hyderabad would hope that he breaks his jinx in Chennai but at this point in time, that seems quite unlikely.
2. Vijay Shankar
In the first two matches, we could witness only glimpses of Vijay’s batting, when he scored 11 and 3 respectively. In both the matches, he seemed to find it difficult to time the ball coming late in the innings. The slowness on the pitch is making Shankar struggle, and batting on such tracks has never been his forte. In the famous Nidahas Trophy final 2018, he was not able to get his timing, which was also the case in the two matches in Chennai.
3. Quinton de Kock
Quinton de Kock is quite an aggressive batsman. He has been as consistent as he used to be. In the previous match, he didn’t seem to find his timing. On top of that, he has a history of getting out against spin bowling, which is something Sunrisers Hyderabad could attack him with early on. Plus, de Kock has often found it difficult against Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jason Holder, who will be bowling in the powerplay to him.
