Jos Buttler had defined RR’s batting since the 2018 season scoring over 1400 runs with an avg of over 40 & a strike rate of touch over 150. With the speculation of the absence of England players, RR will be the most affected as Buttler’s contribution to RR has been exceptional.
Conway is one of the few players in world cricket who can fill the humongous gap created by the absence of Buttler. He, with the likes of Sanju Samson & David Miller, can demolish any attack on their day. He can even keep wickets in case something happens to Sanju Samson which is a nice cushion to have in the playing 11.
RR have not been able to shine amid the top slots in the previous years and their combination is often blamed. The inclusion of Conway may solve several issues for them, going ahead.
