IPL 2021: Strongest and weakest capped player of all teams
Strongest and weakest capped from all the IPL teams.
5. SRH: Strongest – David Warner, Weakest – Khaleel Ahmed
Since 2016, under the dual leadership of Warner and Kane Williamson, this team has been routinely qualifying for the playoffs. Rather than flaunting themselves with a plethora of batsmanship, the side actually carries a sturdy stack of bowlers who more often than not have being their prime match winners. But when it comes to their strongest capped players then irrefutably, no one can beat the reliability of David Warner at the top.
Since his association with the orange army, David Warner single-handedly is their biggest run bank. Since the 2016 season, the Australian cricketer has been amassing more than 550 runs in every IPL edition. With its anchoring role, Warner in IPL 2020 notched a total of 548 runs at an average of almost 40. By taking full advantage of the power play conditions, overall Warner powered a total of 52 fours in the last IPL. Hence again in IPL 2021, the SRH fans will be banking on Warner to have a fruitful IPL.
As far as their weakest capped player is concerned then someone like Khaleel Ahmed had a regrettable domestic season. While representing Rajasthan in the SMAT matches, the left-handed pacer could merely grab a single wicket in his five games with an economy rate of above 8. Even in the VHT matches, Khaleel did miss games for Rajasthan. Even in the IPL 2020, the speedster has a reasonable outing for SRH as he mainly grabbed 8 wickets from his seven matches at an economy rate of 9.42. Hence for the IPL 2021, it will be very interesting to watch whether Khaleel does play some IPL games or mainly warms the benches.
