3. KM Asif

KM Asif has been with CSK since 2018 but has played only three games. Asif is a talented pacer from Kerala. He was first seen when he made his T20 debut for Kerala in the 2017-18 Zonal T20 league. He has been playing for Kerala since then.

After his brilliant performance in that tournament, he was bought by CSK in the IPL auction for the 2018 season. He earlier used to live in Dubai and has to work in a shop as a storekeeper. He did try to make it to the UAE national team but was rejected.

If CSK needs a fast bowler in place of Dube, then Asif can be given a chance by the franchise this time. He hits the deck hard and can produce extra pace and will be an ideal companion for the Kiwi pacer Adam Milne. Since Deepak Chahar is not available, CSK can bring Asif to strengthen their bowling.
