IPL 2022: 5 Bowlers Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) might target in the mega auction
The Sunrisers finished at the bottom of the points table in the 2021 edition of the IPL.
4. Mohammed Shami
The Indian stalwart, Mohammed Shami, has been released from the Punjab side despite having fruitful returns for the franchise. In all three formats, the 31-year-old has been the leading bowler alongside Bumrah. He took 58 wickets for Punjab Kings in the last three years of the IPL, with a remarkable economy rate of 8.25.
Before 2019, Shami didn’t get consistent opportunities for any team he played. He was criticised for leaking a large number of runs late in the game. Shami, on the other hand, has improved dramatically in recent years. From nowhere in the playing XI, he has went on to become one of the most successful pace bowlers from India.
Shami has become an all-phase bowler in the recent years of the IPL. His seam position is the greatest in the world, and when he gets any swing, he turns it into a dangerous weapon. His Yorker accuracy has greatly improved, and he has been consistently hitting 140 kmph or higher. As a result, he might be the primary bowler for a team like Hyderabad, replacing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
