The hard-hitting Liam Livingstone is finally living up to the hype created around him over the years. He is currently striking at a freakish strike rate of 180.75, with nearly 385 runs so far this season. A more than capable part-time spinner, Livingstone is one of the finest T20 players going around.

In his first match of this week against RR, he played a cameo of 22(14) right towards the end of the innings. However, this cameo of his couldn’t win the match for his side. Against RCB, he had a much better outing. Carrying on after the good work by Bairstow, Livingstone struck a powerful 70(42), consisting of five fours and four sixes.

His innings powered Punjab Kings to 209/9, as a result of which they were able to win the match convincingly. Livingstone’s form is going to be crucial as Punjab has only two games left and they need to win both the matches with a good net run rate.
