IPL 2022: Flop XI from fourth week of the season
The misery continues for Mumbai Indians, with their big guns misfiring.
11) Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel had a rather off week with the ball, as he went for a combined economy rate of almost 11 runs per over. The reigning Purple Cap winner went wicketless against Delhi, conceding 40 runs in his four-over spell. He did manage to pick up two wickets against Lucknow Super Giants, but conceded as many as 48 runs.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer has often been unplayable during the slog overs, with a bunch of tricks up his sleeve. However, during the past week, Harshal Patel has missed his lengths on a consistent basis.
Against Delhi Capitals, he was to taken to the cleaners by Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur in the death overs. The 31-year-old pacer will look to come up with better performances in the coming week, as RCB are scheduled to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.
