IPL 2022: Flop XI from seventh week
Virat Kohli's poor form continued in the seventh week of the season.
11. Fazalhaq Farooqi
Things did not seem to work out in the favor of Sunrisers Hyderabad, hence they decided to hand an IPL debut to the Afghanistan left-arm pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi. However, it was not the debut they had wished for as he went for plenty of runs against RCB.
The Afghanistan pacer conceded 47 runs at an economy rate of almost 12. He went wicketless as he was put under pressure by Dinesh Karthik. The pacer conceded as many as 25 runs off the last over, which proved to be the difference-maker.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowling has been their strong point this season, but it has misfired in the past couple of matches. With the margin for error very narrow for now, Sunrisers Hyderabad will certainly consider bringing in a replacement for Fazalhaq Farooqi.
