RCB, a team owned by beer baron Vijay Mallya, was captained by Mr dependable Rahul Dravid in 2008 IPL. The team had a forgettable IPL. In the first match in Bangalore, their bowlers were hammered by KKR’s Brendon McCullum all over the park. RCB performed poorly under the captaincy of Dravid as they could only manage to win 4 of their 14 matches in the league stage and finished seventh in the IPL just above Deccan Chargers Hyderabad. Rahul Dravid is currently serving as the coach of India A and India U19.

The credit for the U19’s success can be given to him as he gave up many lucrative offers to continue coaching youngsters. Under his guidance, India U19 side reached the final of the World Cup in 2016 and won the World Cup in 2018. India A is also performing exceptionally well under Jammy, and he is a man with a mission and an objective to guide youngsters and make them match ready in case of an urgent national call. The former Indian captain was currently inducted into the ICC-Hall of Fame.
