JP Duminy asks one and all to stay alert after his wife and grandmother get mugged
The incident took place in the parking lot of a pharmacy of his locality named Parow Clinic.
South African batsman JP Duminy’s family recently became victims of growing crime rates in the world. Shocked by the incident, Duminy took to Twitter to alert one and all about the incident which took place affecting his wife Sue Duminy and her grandmother.
Apparently, the incident took place in the parking lot of a pharmacy of his locality named Parow Clinic while the two went out to purchase few medicines. There a young goon, in order to steal a necklace, attacked Duminy’s wife and her grandmother.
According to the alert message uploaded by the Protean, Sue’s grandmother fractured her arm with some bruising but stated that there were no serious injuries to the two. Therefore, he appealed everyone to remain cautious as he believes its a ‘crazy world’ we live in.
“Please stay alert out there peeps. I’m well aware that there are many tragedies happening daily. Something needs to be done,” captioned JP Duminy in the latest tweet along with the alert message attached to it.
“On Thursday afternoon my wife and her grandmother were mugged/ assaulted outside the Parow Clinic parking lot in Cape Town. This message is to alert people who collect their meds in this area. There is no regard for age or gender, all they were doing was collecting her medication and a young boy attacked them,” said the message posted by Duminy.

“Thankfully no serious injuries but grandmother was a bit bruised with a fractured arm. All for a cheap necklace. We live in a crazy, Please be safe and alert out there,” concluded the 33-year-old.
JP Duminy was part of the ODI and T20I squad for South Africa in the recent series against Bangladesh. Duminy recently announced his retirement from the longest format of the game due to repeated failures and making a comeback into the eleven.
