'Just f***ing bat properly' - Shane Warne throws the 'F' Bomb on air
It remains to be seen if any action will be taken on Symonds and Warne after their controversial chat that went on air.
Shane Warne and controversy go hand in hand. Right from his playing days, to his life as a retired cricketer as well, Warne has courted controversy. It is a well-known fact that Warne had run-ins with former skipper Steve Waugh and coach John Buchanan in his playing days.
The legendary leg-spinner was also in the news for his controversial and high-profile affair with actress Elizabeth Hurley. Even recently, during the first Test between India and Australia, Warne had referred to Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara as ‘Steve’, as he found it too difficult to pronounce his name and was absolutely thrashed for the same by the fans on social media.
Just two weeks after that controversy, Warne again finds himself in the thick of things, after he threw the ‘F’ bomb on air after the conclusion of play on Day 2 of the third Test between India and Australia. Warne was apparently annoyed by Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne’s mannerisms at the crease.
“Jesus it’s annoying. Noo. Just F***ing bat properly,” said Warne on air which was broadcast by the Fox Sports Channel.
Andrew Symonds too, was with his former teammate and chided Labuschagne and said he should be given the hog pile. The former all-rounder also added that Labuschagne should keep his s*** up, and also mentioned the word ADD, which stands for Attention Deficit Disorder.
“That or his ADD. Mate, if you keep that s**t up, we’re going to squash your guts out of your arse,” said Symonds as both the former teammates ended the conversation with laughter.

Steve Smith shines on Day 2
The second day of the ongoing Third Test was all about the mastery that Steve Smith displayed in the middle. The bating talisman, who was under fire for not being able to get going in this series, stepped up to the task and scored a classy 131 off 226 balls to pile the misery on the Indians. As far as Labuschagne is concerned, the Aussie scored a sedate 91, to help Australia to end their first innings with a total of 338 runs on the board.
In reply, the Indian batsmen survived 45 overs to end Day 2 at 96/2. Shubman Gill continued his good work from the Melbourne Test by notching up his maiden fifty in Test cricket for his country. Rohit Sharma’s return to Test cricket lasted 77 balls, as the ‘Hitman’ was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood for 26.
