Kieron Pollard shares an emotional message for his wife and kids ahead of the IPL final
Taking to his Instagram handle, Pollard thanked his family for their unending support during the tournament.
Two-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians is all set to appear in their 4th final and history might be rewritten today night, if Mumbai goes on to lift the title. They will become the first time to lift the coveted IPL cup thrice but for that, they have to overcome a resurgent Rising Pune Supergiant side who have beaten them all three times in the tournament before.
One of the main players behind Mumbai’s success especially in this edition has been the big man from the Caribbean Kieron Pollard who has amassed 378 runs in 16 clashes at a strike rate of nearly 140. Though he has bowled a solitary over in the season so far his bat has done all the talking and some of his innings have been exceptional considering the context of the game.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Pollard thanked his family for their unending support during the tournament. They left towards the end of April but Pollard still feels the emotional attachment with his wife and his kids. He posted a couple of photos with his kids and wife with a heart touching caption which will make your day.
The emotional message
The caption read, “We started this journey in early April , you left physically nearing the end of April but emotionally the constant support still been there from the “good luck baby” to the “make sure and win dada” has been ringing throughout good bad and indifferent times I just want to say a big THANK YOU for being my number one supporters as I embark on jumping this final hurdle . Despite the results, I know you will be waiting with your arms wide open. Thank you thank you ❤️❤️❤️??.!! #biggestsupporters #blessings @jenna_pollard.”
We are just a few hours away from the commencement of the grand final and it is bound to be a mouth-watering contest on our hands. While Mumbai will be looking to get off the mark against Pune in this season, the latter will look to continue their dominance against Mumbai which might help them lift their one and only title as they won’t be a part of the tournament from the next season.
