MS Dhoni is one of the greatest captain and finisher that cricket has ever seen. His ability to take the game to the last ball has amazed the cricketing fraternity. During a tense chase, the opposition and fans are under more pressure than MS Dhoni. His calmness on the field has earned him the nickname “Captain Cool.” He has led India to two World Cup wins and a Champions Trophy title. The success that he has achieved over the past decade is phenomenal.

Apart from cricket, Mahi is interested in bikes and shooting. Dhoni is an honorary Lt. Col in the territorial army of India and loves shooting and recently spent some time doing target practice at a shooting range and tweeted a video in which he can be seen trying his hands on shooting. Gagan Narang, 2012 London Olympic Games bronze medallist, has invited former India captain MS Dhoni to his shooting academy in Pune, Gun for Glory.

Good shooter

Dhoni impressed everyone with his shooting skills and wrote, “Shooting gun is much more fun than shooting ads.”

Narang had set up the academy in 2011 and since then shooters from his academy have won 67 international medals.  He tweeted: “@msdhoni- come to Gun For Glory in Pune when you want. It’ll be a pleasure to host you at GFG and show you the latest in the sport.”

Dhoni is currently the captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the 11th edition of the IPL. He played a blinder against the Kings XI Punjab and almost took his team through. Despite carrying a back pain, Dhoni was just one hit away from snatching an unlikely victory. He has enough time for recovery as CSK face RR in three days time. The yellow army sits pretty on the top half of the points table with two wins in three games.
