Netizens slam Aakash Chopra for being critical of Air India after 2.5 hours delay
As per him, flying in India after the exit of Jet Airways has been no less than a nightmare.
India and Bangladesh have been involved in a couple of exciting matches in the T20I series, which is currently level at 1-1. Even as the Tigers notched their maiden T20I victory over the Men in Blue at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Rohit Sharma’s men hit back with an eight-wicket victory at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot. The Indian skipper scored 85 and helped his team in the run-chase.
With all to play for, the teams now head to Nagpur for the third T20I and series decider at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. The hosts don’t have a great record at the venue, winning only a solitary match by five runs back in 2017. The pitch isn’t expected to be an absolute batting paradise by any means as from 2016, the average score has been 137 in 10 matches.
Chopra unhappy with flight services
Moreover, eight out of the 11 games have been won by the team, batting first. Going into the contest, the Tigers don’t have the services of Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Despite missing the key stars, the visitors haven’t dropped the gun. In the meantime, ahead of the all-important contest in Nagpur, Aakash Chopra, the former Indian cricketer, was a tad agitated.
He is one the commentators for the series and he isn’t satisfied with the service of Air India. Chopra was unhappy for the fact that he had to go through a 2.5 hours delay. As per him, flying in India after the exit of Jet Airways has been no less than an absolute nightmare.
The veteran took to Twitter and wrote, “Flying in India post the Jet Airways exit is nothing less than a nightmare. Air India flight to Nagpur is a case study—gate closed. Fully boarded. Now Waiting for the last 45 mins inside the plane for one of the crew members to arrive. A grand total of 2.50 hr delay already.”
