New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner achieved his career-best rankings of 11th with the incredible performance against Ireland in the ongoing Tri-series which also involves the Asian side Bangladesh. The left-arm all-rounder whose spell of 5/50 against the Irish side boosted his wicket haul in three matches to seven. Batsmen on the rise
New Zealand’s Tom Latham and Neil Broom have made significant movements after leading the run-scorers’ list in the ICC Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen. The opener Latham has scored 173 runs in the series thus far with the best score of 104 against Ireland on Sunday moving up ten places to career-best of 41st rank.

Bangladesh’s opener Soumya Sarkar has moved seven places up to 27th on the list while Ireland’s skipper William Porterfield who moved one place up to 59th on the list are the others amongst the batsmen in the tri-series to have made a positive move in their rankings.
Meanwhile, with the ball in hand, New Zealand‘s Indian-origin leg-spinner Ish Sodi has jumped up 25 places to 65th on the bowler’s list, which is one of the largest gains in the ongoing tri-series.
Team’s Ranking- no major change
There is very little change in the ODI Team Rankings as New Zealand gained a solitary point to remain in the fourth position with 116 points while Bangladesh has stayed in the seventh place with the pre-tournament 91 points. Bangladesh might extend its lead over Pakistan and West Indies if they manage to sneak home a victory against Kiwis in the series.
