India opened their account in the points table following a convincing win against Bangladesh in the 2nd game of the Nidahas Trophy. Bowlers set up the game for the team after Rohit Sharma elected to bowl first retaining their previous game’s XI. The Bangladesh batsmen failed to get going and ended up with only 139/8 on the board. Despite losing a couple of early wickets, India chased down the target in 18.4 overs as Shikhar Dhawan continued his form with a fifty.
