Rohit and Ritika's Valentine’s Day banter on Twitter

Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh took to Twitter on Valentine’s Day. In spite of not spending the day of love together, the duo showed one and all how things can be mended on Twitter.

Rohit Sharma had married long-time girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh late last year. However, it seems as though the elegant right-handed batsman’s form has improved following the marriage. Ritika began the banter on Twitter as she announced her packed schedule starting with Suits and Greys Anatomy and moving into reality show The Bachelor and DC Comic’s very own Arrow.

Rohit replied almost instantly stating his dislike for legal drama Suits. However, matters got better when he stated that blockbuster Deadpool was to follow, completing a romantic date-night with his wife. Instead of an expected banter on the TV series, Sajdeh posted a cheesy picture of the two with the caption “Thank you for coming into my life and making it complete”.

Rohit Sharma is currently away from home and is with the Indian team. He will feature in the Indian XI as the team takes on Sri Lanka in the 3rd and the final T20I of the series at Vishakapatnam on Sunday. The Indians bounced back rather impressively from the first T20 with a win in the second T20I in Ranchi. However, MS Dhoni & Co. will be looking for a confidence-boosting win in the third T20 to be played in the coastal town of Vizag.

The Indians will also be hoping that Rohit Sharma can replicate his Twitter antics with a good performance with the bat tonight.
