Sachin Tendulkar makes a mistake on Twitter
Sachin made a terrible mistake during the third match of the Indian Premier League.
Sachin Tendulkar is known for his perfection in the techniques of batting but sometimes he can make mistakes. Sachin made a terrible one during the third match of the Indian Premier League as Gujarat Lions were thumped by the Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 wickets.
The match saw Gujarat post a solid total of 184 for four but that did not seem to be enough for their bowlers as they were bludgeoned by the opening pair of the Kolkata Knight Riders. The Gujarat Lions bowlers were so poor that they could not even take a wicket.
However, Sachin was involved in a mistake on Twitter related to the game. One of the predictions of the master blaster was way wrong. He predicted that the opening pair of Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith like always will be extremely dangerous but the legend of the game forgot that Gujarat Lions had snapped up Jason Roy in the recently held auction.
Jason Roy who is an out and out opener would not bat lower down the order while Dwayne Smith who has previously batted down the order for West Indies might just get the nod at number five or six. Gujarat also gambled by playing all the foreigners as batters and an all Indian bowling line up was cleaved apart by the opening pair of Shah Rukh Khan owned a Kolkata-based team.
Sachin, however, got the Trent Boult part right as he said that everyone should look out for the Kiwi. The tweet read “@Bazmccullum and Dwayne Smith fabulous opening pair but surely watch out for @trent_boult.”
Here is the actual tweet:
Sachin, however, is enjoying his time watching cricket after enthralling his fans for 24 years. He is the mentor in the Mumbai Indians set up as he saw his team suffer a loss in their first game of the season at the hands of their territorial rivals Pune.
