Shreyas Iyer to lead India A in One-Day tri-series in England
Karun Nair will lead the side in the four-day matches.
The selection committee led by MSK Prasad has announced India A squad for the tour of England which will commence on June 22. The teams for both One-Day tri-series and four-day matches have been announced by them. While Karun Nair will lead the side in the whites, Shreyas Iyer has been handed over the captaincy in the limited overs. However, a lot of new names have been picked by the selectors by keeping the future in mind it seems and all these players are set to be coached by Rahul Dravid.
The tour for India A side will begin with the One-Day tri-series against England Lions (A team) and Windies A on June 22. They are also set to play a four-day game against the Lions at Worcester from July 16 to 19. The team will also face a couple of County sides on the tour which will be three-day games.
U19 stars included in the team
Prithvi Shaw has been included in both the squads and his U19 teammate Shubman Gill has found a place in the One-Day squad of the tour. Both are doing well for their respective teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. Krunal Pandya has also been rewarded for his consistent showings in the IPL and will be seen in the coloured jersey. The young crop of fast bowlers has been included in both the squads which clearly indicates that the selectors are looking at the future.

The likes of Ravikumar Samarth, Mayank Agarwal, Abhimanyu Easwaran and Ankit Bawne are part of the team.
