SIX vs REN Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match? BBL 2020-21, Match 6
On head-to-head count, the Sixers are leading by a margin of 7-5 and it’s the first time that they would be locking horns in Hobart.
Sydney Sixers, the BBL defending champions, didn’t get off to a superb start in the ongoing edition of the tournament. The team, led by Daniel Hughes, went down to the Hobart Hurricanes by 16 runs at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. At the same venue on Sunday, December 13, they would be facing the Melbourne Renegades.
The Sixers would be desperate to make amends and get their campaign going. On head-to-head count, the Sixers are leading by a margin of 7-5 and it’s the first time that they would be locking horns in Hobart.
The Renegades, on the other hand, got off an incredible start after a disappointing outing in the previous season. At the same venue, the team, led by Aaron Finch, defeated Perth Scorchers by seven wickets. They would want to carry over the momentum.
Pitch and Conditions
The pitch in Hobart has been reasonable for batting. Though the Scorchers experienced a collapse, the deck couldn’t be held responsible for the same. Teams may opt to bat first and then put the opposition under a bit of pressure.
The temperature will be around the 24 degrees Celsius mark with the humidity in the 40s. There would be 97 per cent cloud cover during match time.

Probable Top Performers for SIX vs REN
Josh Philippe– Sydney Sixers
Josh Philippe has come up the ranks in the last 12 months or so. He was outstanding in the 2019-20 edition of the BBL and currently has 877 runs at an average and strike-rate of 30.24 and 133.48 respectively.
But in the Sixers’ first match this season, he could manage only a solitary run before getting out to fast bowler James Faulkner. But he has all the potential to make amends and score big.
Aaron Finch– Melbourne Renegades
Aaron Finch has played a number of stupendous knocks for the Australian team over the years. He has been impressive even in the BBL, though the Renegades are yet to win the championship.
In the last game, he smashed Jason Behrendorff for quite a few fours. The right-hander managed 35 runs off 28 balls with five fours and one six. He eventually perished to Jhye Richardson in the ninth over.
