'Kohli could take retirement from T20Is after the T20 World Cup' : Shoaib Akhtar
Meanwhile, Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has speculated that Virat could say farewell to the shortest format of the game after the upcoming T20 World Cup. The decision could be influenced by the ODI World Cup slated to be played next year, in a bid to prolong his international career in the other formats.
“Kohli could take retirement (from T20Is) after the T20 World Cup (in Australia). He might do so as to extend his longevity in the other formats. If I was him, I would have looked at the larger picture and taken a call,” Akhtar told India.com.
