Courtney Walsh provides update on his stolen phones

Former West Indian cricketer, Courtney Walsh, took to social media to break out the unfortunate news of his phones getting stolen from him. He also said that he or the police have not been able to locate the exact whereabouts of the devices. 

Although the luminary didn't reveal any specifics about the incident, he publicly informed his followers and near-and-dear ones to not make further efforts in the hope of trying to reach him via call.

When it comes to his relationship with cricket, the towering speedster was drawn in as a consultant for Zimbabwe Women. However, the experience wasn't one to cherish for Walsh as they failed to make it to the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup after managing just a sole win in their four league games at the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier 2024, which was played across April and May earlier this year.

Reflecting on his 17-year-long cricketing career, Walsh holds the record for the most number of wickets for the West Indies in international cricket to date. The Jamaican scalped 519 wickets in 132 Tests, comprising 22 five-wicket hauls and three 10-fers. In ODIs, Walsh has 227 scalps in 205 matches, with his best bowling figures being an outworldly 5/1 in 4.3 overs against Sri Lanka in the 1986 edition of the Champions Trophy. Overall, Walsh has 746 wickets across formats.

The top five on the list of the highest wicket-takers for the Men in Maroon include Curtley Ambrose (630), Malcolm Marsh (533), Kemar Roach (408), and Joel Garner (405).
