India and Australia were involved in a high-scoring encounter in the first T20I of the three-match series in Mohali on Tuesday (September 20). Chasing a mammoth total of 209, Australia got off to a brilliant start courtesy Cameron Green who managed to hit a 26-ball fifty while opening the innings for the first time in his career. However, India stormed back into the contest in the second half of the innings picking up quick wickets.

Interestingly, two of those wickets came off DRS with the hosts managing to get the better of Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell in the 12th over. Umesh Yadav was the man with the ball for India. However, more than the wickets, the video of Rohit Sharma funnily grabbing Karthik's neck after taking a review over Maxwell's dismissal caught the attention of many.

At first, it seemed as if the India skipper was irritated with his wicketkeeper probably for not appealing vociferously after having a batter caught behind. Karthik wasn't appealing much after taking Smith's catch and the same happened when he caught Maxwell from behind the stumps. On both occasions, Rohit Sharma was sure of the dismissal and went up for the review after umpire struck down the appeal.

It was after the Maxwell review that Rohit seemed agitated with Karthik and then funnily grabbed his neck with both his hands for the Twitterati to go berserk over the scenes in the middle.

Here's the video:
