WWE Superstar John Cena has been used to posting images that have not had explanations, however, he keeps the fans guessing of what’s in store. The 16-time champion has posted images relating to cricketers in the past including the likes of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. His bio on Instagram reads “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy” and he added one to the mix recently.

During the final of the Tri-series between Pakistan and New Zealand, Glenn Phillips walked out to bat and Cena’s theme song was played while entering the crease. The spotlight turned on Phillips completely and the video of it went viral on social media. The fans could not stop talking over the incident and Cena has now responded with another peculiar post of Phillips celebrating his fastest T20I ton for New Zealand against West Indies.

However, this time the fans were quick to understand the context of the picture and there was a series of comments in explanation for the fans who weren't aware of it. It certainly brought a lot of excitement among the active social media fans who have admired Cena’s brutal power and strength.

Here’s the post of John Cena on Instagram

Notably, Phillips has been in good form in recent times and has been among the few positives for the men in black. However, New Zealand haven’t had the best of run coming into the T20 World Cup 2022 and they lost the final to Pakistan in the tri-series. The Kiwis were shattered to all parts in the warm-up fixture against South Africa to add to their woes. The runners-up from the previous edition will need an inspiring performance if they have to make a difference once they start their campaign on October 22.

The Kane Williamson-led side is scheduled to play another warm-up fixture against India on October 19 and this will be a big test for the Blackcaps who haven’t been on the money.
