Sarah Taylor announces partner Diana Main's pregnancy
"Being a mother has always been my partner's dream. The journey hasn't been an easy one but Diana has never given up," Sarah wrote on Instagram.
Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor announced her partner Diana Main’s pregnancy February 22. Taylor took to Instagram and shared a couple of sonography images as well as a photograph of Diana alongside showing the pregnancy test. She further announced that the baby is expected after 19 weeks.
"Being a mother has always been my partner's dream. The journey hasn't been an easy one but Diana has never given up. I know she will be the best mum and I'm so happy to be a part of it. 19 weeks to go and life will be very different! So proud of you," she captioned the post.
Sarah had a successful career playing for England as she won two ODI World Cups, in 2009 and 2017. She was also part of the England side which won the T20 World Cup in 2009.
She also has 90 T20I caps to her name, having scored 2177 runs at an average of 29.02 with 16 fifties. Sarah got one of the best compliments of her career in 2018, when legendary Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist termed her the 'best wicketkeeper in the world male or female’.
Sarah took 85 catches and also inflicted 51 stumpings with her swift handwork in the 126 ODIs, while she has 23 catches and 51 stumpings in 90 T20Is.
