The star Bangladesh all rounder Shakib Al Hasan lost his cool during a promotional event and tried to teach a fan a lesson by beating him with a cap. Hasan currently leads Bangladesh in T20Is and Tests, respectively. Shakib has been in excellent form with his on-field performances across formats lately but his off-field behavior continues to keep him under the media scanner.
Hasan was involved in heated arguments with officials during the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League 2023 on two occasions. His temper is well-known among the cricketer fraternity and fans witnessed another example in a video that recently surfaced on the internet. The 35-year-old star guided Bangladesh to their first-ever T20I triumph over England in the first match of the ongoing three-match series at home on March 9. He took the valuable wicket of Dawid Malan with an economically impressive spell and then smashed an unbeaten 34 off 24 to guide Bangladesh to a six-wicket win while chasing a 157-run target.
Shakib also shone in the recent ODIs against England with two fifties and six wickets from just three games amid a series defeat for his team. He became the first Bangladesh cricketer to scalp 300 wickets in ODIs as he continues to dominate the ICC ODI All-rounder chart.
