Star India batter Suryakumar Yadav has made a humble request to his friends and relatives asking for tickets for the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup in India. The 33-year-old requested that they do not bother him for match tickets and instead watch the game from the comfort of their own house.

Ahead of India's much-awaited clash against Pakistan, Suryakumar took to his social media account and posted the request in a hilarious way. Notably, the match will be contested on October 14, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad.

"Bhailog ghar pe acche acche TV hain sabke enjoy karo, aur AC mein baith ke match dekho. No more ticket requests pls," Suryakumar wrote in his Instagram story.

Suryakumar likely to be included in ODI World Cup 2023 clash against Pakistan

Suryakumar Yadav did not play in India's first two matches, against Australia and Afghanistan, respectively. However, the 33-year-old is expected to be included in the playing XI for the blockbuster ODI World Cup 2023 clash against Pakistan. In the match against Afghanistan, India included Shardul Thakur in place of Ravichandran Ashwin. Despite the fact that Thakur brings batting depth to the team, India may seek to add a pure batter, which will eventually lead to a chance for Suryakumar.

Ishan Kishan will continue to open with skipper Rohit Sharma since Shubman Gill's participation has yet to be confirmed. Despite being out for a duck in the first game, Rohit bounced back, scoring a blistering century against Afghanistan. Kishan, on the other hand, has had one dismal performance and would likely make an impact against the Men in Green.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who amassed two half-centuries in two games, will bat third. Suryakumar Yadav can play and be slotted in at no. 6 with Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul batting at number 4 and 5 slots, respectively. Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav will follow them. In addition, India may also consider Mohammed Shami as a replacement for Mohammed Siraj.
