In a hilarious video doing the rounds all over social media, a batter was embarrassed by a little girl after he was sent back to the pavilion for a duck in a grade cricket match in Tasmania. After his first ball duck, the batter walked back in disappointment, and to add to his misery, a little girl was seen teasing him with a live duck on the field.

The clip of the moment was shared by Playcricket on their official Instagram handle, and almost a year after the incident, it was re-shared on social media. “Who's going duck hunting this weekend?” Playcricket captioned the post.

Australia continue their tussle with West Indies

Speaking of Cricket Australia, the side is currently engaged in a multi-format series against the West Indies. Both sides faced off in two Test matches, where the Aussies managed to register a dominant win in the first Test. However, as the second Test rolled around, it was the heroic performance of Shamar Joseph that propelled the West Indies to a series-levelling win.

After their Test series draw, both Australia and the West Indies shifted their focus onto the shorter format and kicked off the ODI series on Friday, February 2, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The clash began with the West Indies coming in to bat first after losing the toss. After the openers’ early dismissal, the knock of Keacy Carty scoring 88 runs stabilised the innings for the visitors.

Furthermore, Roston Chase added 59 runs on the board as the West Indies posted a total of 231 runs in the first innings. As for Australia, Xavier Bartlett was the highest wicket-taker with four wickets to his name; Sean Abbott and Cameron Green took two wickets each, with Adam Zampa striking once.

Aiming to chase down the target, the hosts put forth a magnificent performance with the bat. Josh Inglis scored 65 runs in 43 deliveries, Cameron Green added 77* runs on the board, and Steve Smith scored 79* runs as Australia won the game by eight wickets.
