Watch: Harbhajan Singh engages in animated conversation with Kamran Akmal after 'Sikh joke' incident during T20 World Cup 2024
Harbhajan Singh had recently lambasted Kamran Akmal for his insensitive comments on the Sikh community.
Harbhajan Singh and Kamran Akmal were seen having an animated chat on the sidelines of the India Champions versus Pakistan Champions encounter in the World Championship of Legends 2024 event on Saturday, July 6, at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Last month, during the high-octane India versus Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup 2024, Akmal made an insulting remark about Arshdeep Singh and the Sikh community that garnered a sharp reply from Harbhajan. The former wicketkeeper-batter made the controversial comment during his appearance as an expert on a Pakistani TV channel, as he analysed the marquee encounter.
"Kuch bhi ho sakta hai... Dekhein last over karna Arshdeep Singh ne hai. Waise uska rhythm nahi laga. 12 bajj gaye hai (Anything can happen. The last over will be bowled by Arshdeep Singh; he hasn't looked in a great rhythm. And It is already 12)," Akmal had said on a show.

After this comment, Akmal received widespread criticism from fans and Harbhajan also launched a scatching on him.
"Lakh di laanat tere Kamraan Akhmal.. You should know the history of sikhs before u open ur filthy mouth. We Sikhs saved ur mothers and sisters when they were abducted by invaders, the time invariably was 12 o'clock . Shame on you guys.. Have some Gratitude," Harbhajan said.

Later, Akmal did issue an apology but the damage had already been done. On Saturday, a video showing the two former cricketers engaging in an animated conversation has grabbed eyeballs on social media. While the audio of their interaction isn't available, fans are guessing that they were talking about the controversial incident.
Pakistan Champions defeated India Champions in a high-scoring encounter by 68 runs as Akmal scored a blistering 77 off 40 balls, hitting nine fours and four sixes. Sharjeel Khan and Sohaib Maqsood also scored half-centuries as Pakistan posted 243/4 in their 20 overs. In reply, Harbhajan-led India Champions were restricted to 175/9 as Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik bagged three wickets apiece.
