Pakistan orchestrated a historic series win against Australia as they beat the hosts by 2-1 to win a series in Australia after 22 years. In the final ODI at the Perth Stadium, the visitors restricted Men in Yellow to just 140 runs and chased the target with eight wickets and 23.1 overs remaining. Haris Rauf picked two crucial wickets upfront as Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 28 and 30 to take their team over the line.
Back in the presenters studio, former England skipper, Michael Vaughan and former Australia batter, Adam Gilchrist were indulged in picking their top three best Pakistani batters of all-time. Vaughan was first asked about his picks and the veteran went for Babar Azam as the batter in the number third spot. Former Pakistan captain, Inzamam ul Haq was picked as the second choice and the first pick was the legendary batter, Javed Miandad.

“Special moment for me, the nation will be very happy today, we didn't perform as per expectations in the last couple of years. I'm the captain only for the toss and presentations - everyone gives me suggestions on the field, the batting group and the bowling group. All the credit to the bowlers, Australia in Australia isn't easy, the conditions suit their style of playing, but the bowlers were outstanding,” said Rizwan after the series win.
