Vaibhav Suryavanshi turned 14 years old on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Rajasthan Royals' players and support staff celebrated the moment with a cake bash in the team hotel. Vikram Rathour, Sandeep Sharma, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Maheesh Theekshana, and others were a part of the event.

They showed their love and support for the emerging star. Rajasthan took to their social media handles to share about the birthday celebration. The video had Sandeep, Riyan, and other key RR players wishing Vaibhav. Vikram and other support staff members were spotted in the video.

"Vaibhav’s first Royals birthday went like'" RR captioned their birthday video on their official 'X' handle.

Besides, overseas players like Hetmyer, Theekshana, and others watched the celebration a bit far from the table. Riyan smashed Vaibhav Suryavanshi's face with the cake. Sandeep and others joined the act and ensured Suryavanshi enjoyed his special day. The team environment seemed high despite not having a great time in the IPL 2025 so far.

Rajasthan Royals started poorly in IPL 2025

RR find themselves at the bottom of the points table, having suffered two consecutive losses in the league. In their first match, the Royals went down to Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high-scoring game. The Royals conceded the second-highest total in the history of the league, as the Orange Army posted a whopping 286 runs.

In reply, RR scored 242 runs—an impressive batting performance. Unfortunately, the failure of the bowling and fielding units cost RR the game. Despite losing to SRH by 44 runs, RR had several positives to take away. However, the same could not be said about their performance against KKR.

RR suffered a convincing defeat to KKR at home and failed to show resilience in the middle. Batting first, the 2008 champions managed only 151 runs. While defending the total, RR reduced KKR to 70/2 by the end of the first half. However, Quinton de Kock and Angkrish Raghuvanshi's knocks ensured the three-time champions secured an easy win in the end.
