Team India is all set to take on New Zealand in the upcoming three-match Test series. Ahead of the series, team India is working hard preparing for the series, and skipper Rohit Sharma was recently captured preparing in the nets. It is worth noting that Rohit was last seen in action in the two-game Test series against Bangladesh.

In the clip, which has been going viral all over social media, Rohit took to his official Instagram handle and shared the clip of him fine-tuning his batting ahead of the tough series against the Black Caps.

It is worth noting that India's series against New Zealand is all set to kick off on October 16, and the first Test of the series will kick off at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Interestingly, Rohit Sharma’s form has been crucial for Team India this season.

With the Test series against New Zealand and Australia next for India, Rohit's men will aim to put in their best performances in the upcoming assignments and hope to register wins.

There is no doubt that he is a leader: Ajay Jadeja

Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja recently came forward and analyzed team India’s performances in the recently concluded Test series against Bangladesh. Jadeja opined that Rohit put in impactful performances throughout the series but could not score big often.

"Rohit the batter that we are used to, who we have been seeing for so many years, he is among those who have scored double-centuries, both in ODIs and Tests. There is no doubt that he is a leader in the template we talk about, the three sixes he hit, and then how the innings went. However, I personally consider Rohit Sharma the batter much bigger than this, but those big knocks don't come daily,” Ajay Jadeja told Colors Cineplex.

"If we see this series, there is no doubt that he created an impact but Rohit the opener didn't convert any of his innings. So Rohit as a batter would be personally disappointed. I hope he is (disappointed) because as a fan you get disappointed when you don't get to see a single 50, 100, 150 or 200 from Rohit Sharma, because this is neither T20 nor ODI. In fact, he scores 200 even in ODIs,” he added.
