Watch: Shreyas Iyer's bullet throw sends Alex Carey packing
Alex Carey had scored 61 off 57 deliveries before getting dismissed by a great piece of fielding from Shreyas Iyer.
The first semi-final is being played between India and Australia at the Dubai International Stadium. This has been one of the most hyped games of the tournament, knowing the history of the two teams in ICC knockout events
The Men in Blue showcased a great display of fielding throughout the first innings against Australia. One of them was the terrific runout done by Shreyas Iyer in the 48th over to dismiss the opponent's middle-order wicketkeeper, Alex Carey.
Alex Carey was causing problems for the Indian bowlers with his great knock of 61 off 57 deliveries until he was surprised by Iyer’s throw. Iyer, who was positioned at a deep backward square leg, ran in to collect the ball and accurately threw it onto the stumps. This was a much-needed wicket for the Indian team as Carey was capable of getting Australia to a big score in the end.

Speaking of the match, Australia were finally bowled out for 264 by the Indian bowlers. Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3/48 in his full quota of ten overs. This is a competitive total set by the Aussies, which has set up a great contest between the two sides going into the second innings.
There were some great knocks from skipper Steve Smith and Carey, who kept the runs flowing until they were dismissed. Steve Smith's 73 off 96 deliveries was a tough point for the Indian team until he was dismissed by a low full toss by Shami in the 37th over of the innings.
