Team-wise one player you don't know was once part of in IPL
In the 13 year history of the league, hundreds of players have participated in the T20 Championship.
3. Justin Langer – RR
Former Australian batsman and head coach of Australia’s cricket team Justin Langer was one of the most celebrated Test batsmen of his time. In his glorious Test career, which spanned from 1993 to 2007, Langer represented Australia in a whopping 105 Test fixtures amassing 7696 runs at a stunning average of 45.3.
Langer was mostly known for playing in the purest format of the game, thus it was a surprise for many cricket fans to see the veteran getting picked for IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) while trying his luck in the shortest format in the Indian T20 extravaganza.
However, the gritty left-handed opening batsman wasn’t made for T20 format as the only game in which he was added in the playing eleven in the IPL was abandoned without a ball being bowled. He featured in just one game for RR during the British Asian Cup in 2009, when the side played Middlesex in a one-off match. In that game, batting at number 5 position, Langer had scored just 1 run.
