5. Travis Head – DC

Australia’s left-handed middle-order batsman and a part-time spin bowler Travis Head is known for his stint with IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) that spanned from 2016 to 2017. In the two editions, he provided much-needed stability to the Bangalore outfit in the middle-order and also chipped in with a few overs with the ball.

Head had a moderate outing for RCB as he featured in just 10 games across two seasons scoring 205 runs at a strike-rate of 138.51 and an average of 29.3. One of the most memorable spells of his IPL journey had come in a game against Kolkata Knight Riders as he had hammered 75* off 47 balls.

As far as bowling is concerned, Travis had picked up just 2 wickets at an economy of 10.12 and an average of 40.5. However, not many are aware of the fact that the Australian all-rounder has started his journey in the T20 Extravaganza in 2015 with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) but couldn’t feature in a single game for them.
