Right-handed middle-order batsman Manish Pandey is known for plying his trade for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Karnataka-born was picked by the Orange Army ahead of the 2018 edition for a staggering amount of INR 11 crores.

However, Pandey’s journey in the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. He was initially picked by Mumbai Indians in the 2008 edition but didn’t get many opportunities to represent his talent and thus moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore, which proved to be a masterstroke for the right-hander.

After establishing himself as a competent middle-order batsman he played for teams like Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab before finally moving to SRH. In 146 IPL games, Manish has garnered a whopping 3,268 runs at an average of 29.7 and strike rate of 121.7. In 2009, he had also registered himself as the first player to score a hundred in IPL.
