The Kiwis have played 25 matches and registered 11 wins, 12 losses and 2 ties. In the inaugural edition in 2007, the team’s progress was stopped in the semi-final by Pakistan. In the next edition in England, the team failed to reach the semi-finals. This was again the case in the next three editions in 2010, 2012 and 2014. The team has had some of the finest T20 cricketers over the years, however, have failed to impress when it matters the most in crunch situations. The Kiwis have sent a strong squad to India that will look to make a mark and improve this record.
