'To Dad' - Hardik Pandya's latest video is all about his golden memories with late father

India’s swashbuckling all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya are going through a rough phase in their personal lives as a couple of days ago, they lost their father Himanshu Pandya due to a cardiac arrest. The news completely shattered the two cricketers as they quickly flew to their hometown Baroda to complete the last rites of their father.
A broken Hardik Pandya had penned an emotional note for his father along with posting a couple of pictures with him. In the last note to his deceased father, Hardik had credited him for everything his sons have achieved in their lives. Also, the all-rounder mentioned that his father will always be missed in their home and they all are proud of the way he lived all his life.
“To My Daddy and my Hero – To lose you is one of the most difficult things to accept in life but you have left us so many great memories that we can only imagine you smiling! Your sons are standing where they are right now is only because of you, your hard work, your self-belief and you were always happy. This house without you would be less entertaining! We love you and will always do. Your name will always stay on top.
“But I know one thing, you are looking after us from above the same way you did here! You were proud of us but daddy we all are proud of the way you lived your life! As I said yesterday to you. One last ride. Now rest in peace, my king. I will miss you every day of my life. Love you daddy!” Hardik Pandya had written on his official Instagram handle.
Hardik Pandya pays tribute to his father
On January 23, Saturday, Hardik again took to his official Twitter handle to pay tribute to his late father. The 27-year-old shared a heartwarming video comprising some memorable moments his father shared with their whole family. One of the main highlights of the video was Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan interacting with Hardik’s father and congratulating him for the astounding performance of his kids.
Hardik will be next seen playing for India in the first two Tests against England, starting from February 5 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, as he has been named in the 18-member squad.
