Ever since the departure of the legends like Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, and Vernon Philander, Kagiso Rabada in a true sense has emerged as an epitome in South Africa’s current bowling lineup. Since his U-19 World Cup days, the pacer has been under massive limelight and has been climbing the ladder vigorously by making SA win some of the most diverse games across all formats.

With his bowling coming in as a complete package that has all the skillsets to excel in all three formats, Rabada has constantly dwelled himself in the top bowling rankings lists. So far, the spearhead ranks himself fourth in terms of the best career strike rate in Test matches (41.2) and has the best figures on debut (6 for 16) in ODIs.

Especially in the longest format of the game, the premier pacer has been soaring as from his 47 matches, Rabada has scalped booming 213 wickets. Even in the ODIs, the right-arm pacer has been a hounding proposition and has 119 wickets from his 77 appearances.

Overall, Rabada being someone who can hit the deck hard, has some serious pace and toe crushing yorkers, can move the ball both ways along with the reverse swing skills is an elusive paragon entity that the South African team must prudently relish.
