Call him a miracle man for England or a history maker who has the knack of clinching some of the most impossible victories, irrefutably Ben Stokes is the premier all-rounder of the game at present. His well-rounded ability to bat as per the situation makes him now England’s most elusive batter who can smoothly cope up with demands of all formats.

In the longest format of the game, Stokes has played 71 matches and has 4631 runs at an average of 37.05. The all-rounder has also picked 164 wickets and has a prodigious number of 10 centuries under his name. His trouncing 135* against Australia at Leeds in Ashes 2019 is an impregnable testament especially when it comes to triumphing in Test cricket’s most outlandish situations.

However, when it comes to the T20Is, Stokes has merely played 34 games and currently averages 20.09. Often, the T20Is are predominately his leeway games wherein Stokes takes his leaves and gets revitalized from his overwhelming workload.

Overall, the all-rounder also has an impressive ODI record in which Stokes has scored 2817 runs at an average of around 40. Perhaps in the ODIs, at present Stokes is one of the elusive bona fide batters who can rigorously finish games in world cricket.
