From time to time, Kohli has proved his credentials and has been on a record-breaking spree ever since he entered the cricketing world. Scoring a century is a special milestone and India’s run machine yesterday became the fastest to 24 ODI centuries. Only a handful of five cricketers have hit 24 or more ODI centuries in their career and Kohli sits right on top of all of them. 5. By far in his career span of 191 innings, de Villiers has scored 8621 runs at a superb average of 54.55 and he has got these runs with the help of 24 hundreds and 48 fifties. 1. At the moment, Kohli has been rewriting most of the batting record and appears as the perfect heir to Sachin Tendulkar in terms creating and breaking batting records.
