Steven Finn took 6-79 to bring Australia to their knees on day two of the third Test at Edgbaston. Finn was making a comeback in the side and straightaway hit his strides. Finn took his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket after 26 months as the tourists’ batting line-up folded cheaply against an England attack swinging and seaming the ball at will. Steven Smith (8) was the first to succumb to the pace of Finn, Captain Michael Clarke (8) and Adam Voges (0) then followed in successive balls with edges to the slips which left the visitors tottering. Marsh, Nevill and Johnson were Finn’s other victims.
