The Sri Lankan tear away fast bowler made his name in the SLPL. At a glance, the tall and slim youngster might look ordinary, but give him a ball in his hand and he can make batsmen jump off their feet. Chameera is an aggressive fellow who consistently bowls in the mid-140’s. He made his ODI debut against New Zealand at Wellington in January this year and bagged his Test cap in June against Pakistan. His best moment of the year should be the five-wicket haul he grabbed against New Zealand. Chameera took figures of 5/47 and 4/45 in the match and became a cause of concern for the Kiwis.
